3. Web Site Navigational Information
DOC2DOC Lending uses commonly used information-gathering tools, such as cookies, to collect information as users navigate doc2doclending.com (“Web Site Navigational Information”). This section describes the types of Web Site Navigational Information DOC2DOC Lending may collect and how DOC2DOC Lending may use this information.
There are two types of cookies: session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer.
If you have chosen to identify yourself to DOC2DOC Lending, DOC2DOC Lending uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow DOC2DOC Lending to uniquely identify you. Each time you log into the Web site, a session cookie containing an encrypted, unique identifier that is tied to your account is placed in your browser. These session cookies allow DOC2DOC Lending to uniquely identify you when you are logged into the Web site and to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies are required to use the Web site.
DOC2DOC Lending uses persistent cookies that only DOC2DOC Lending can read and use to identify browsers that have previously visited DOC2DOC Lending’s Web site. When you access the Web site or provide DOC2DOC Lending with personal information, a unique identifier is assigned to you. This unique identifier is associated with a persistent cookie that DOC2DOC Lending places on your web browser. DOC2DOC Lending is especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, DOC2DOC Lending does not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. If you disable your web browser’s ability to accept cookies, you will be able to navigate DOC2DOC Lending’s Web site, but you will not be able to successfully use the Web site.
DOC2DOC Lending does not use web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about users’ usage of the Web site. DOC2DOC Lending reserves the right to begin using web beacons to derive information about users and to provide you with information about DOC2DOC Lending.
When you visit the Web site, DOC2DOC Lending collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personally identifiable information. For example, DOC2DOC Lending uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which users navigate the Web site.
4. Sharing of Information Collected
DOC2DOC Lending may share Data about DOC2DOC Lending Customers with DOC2DOC Lending’s agents to ensure the quality of information provided. DOC2DOC Lending does not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
DOC2DOC Lending reserves the right to disclose personally identifiable information provided by users if required by law or if DOC2DOC Lending reasonably believes that disclosure is necessary to protect DOC2DOC Lending’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
5. Do Not Track
DOC2DOC Lending does process or respond to “do not track” signals.
DOC2DOC Lending is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your information and online transactions. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect your personal information. We have security procedures in place to safeguard against loss, theft, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, and modification of this information after we receive it. For example, DOC2DOC Lending restricts access to the information to our employees, agents and contractors who need to know such information to provide products or services to you.
